In this session, I am sharing how my school, Brooklyn College Academy, uses Google Drive and Google Apps for Education's "Google Classroom" in order to help facilitate Professional Development [PD] and collect data. Through mindful organization of files on Google Drive with designated folders for Professional Learning Committee's [PLC] during PD time, faculty are able to collaborate with one another and track the details of their meetings using a "Minutes" doc. By using Google Classroom and the suite of applications available on Google Drive, our PD Leadership team can collect data and give assignments on PD days to better facilitate teacher development and track growth.
